There is perfume in the air,

voices here and there,

laughter, freely flowing,

like wine liberally poured out.

The night is dressed in neon lights.

Ladies in tight dresses with legs

like thinly sliced peaches,

paint the streets.

There is singing, wishing for dreams

to dance and spin me away

to forget life for a moment

and remember that I too was young
