sometimes i wonder

where all those years went

i can vaguely remember

sitting behind the desk

while the teacher

wrote on the chalkboard

the homework for tomorrow

tomorrow came

without my consent

she never warned me

about the troubles,

the tears,

the regrets

i remember

i laughed at tomorrow

'cause today was on my side

i felt tomorrow couldn't

touch me

i thought today had it all

i was wrong

for today

doesn't know

nor have


today is but
