spider web

no milk for the cornflakes

i eat them

like pebbles in my mouth

i chew them

at least i have the

chocolate almonds

the pandemic is still raging

like wind

it moves

here and there

you can see its hand

in white beds

and wooden caskets

i saw a spider web

a little fly

entangled

dried up

like a museum piece

ancient

mummified

how it holds

despite

the wind

the sun

the cold

the earth

turns

the tides

become higher

footprints and paws

meander the sand

while the sun sets

the taxi driver

hums a tune

the janitor

mops the floor

a couple

makes love

babies cry

there are wedding bells

crying

in another

pictures in one

silence

in another

the earth turns

shouting

in bob's flat

john is grabbing

his chest

while tom

sticks a needle

for another trip

the spider web

holds

despite

the wind

the sun

the cold
