the sky is falling

i know not why

blue is melting down

like ice cream, sliding

down the cone,

anger written all over

its face

the clouds seem agitated

i know not how

there seems to be a giant fan

blowing the clouds away

like a gust of hot air

on a cold winter's day

i see birds scattering away

like herd of bulls on a rampage,

seeking refuge from

something that i cannot see

perhaps my eyes are playing with me

showing me my inner monsters

repressed by the ordinary

daily life

of second hands, ticking away

while the coffee machine drips

dark liquids

that drug my mind
